Understanding Power

I think the above quote by Edward Abbey comes closest to what i believe is true about power. Having said that, using a quotation by Abbey is in no way an endorsement by me of any of his other views or personal philosophy.
Look at the man who desires power and control and i'll show you a man who is unfit to shoulder the "responsibility" of power and control. The central reason for the never ending chain of destructive events in human history is the lust for power and control over others by despicable and reprobate individuals.
The trail of blood and death that stains the sands of time was shed by these same individuals after they lied, cheated, deceived or murdered their way into power.
It is rare indeed when we come across individuals who refused power and all its many temptations. One wonders what would have happened to the world had these more gentle, trustworthy souls chosen differently and governed wisely with justice!

The only man/woman to be trusted with power and the lives of others is the one who fully understands the precious value of the lives of the lowliest people in society. These people are guided by an absolute knowledge of human value and worth as directed from God who gives life to every living thing.
Understanding this, they can rule/govern fairly without partiality and in the fear of God so that freedom, justice, equality and dignity are enjoyed by all.

History is replete with the wreckage of empires and tyrant rulers who gave themselves over to corruption and greed, enslaving and killing the weak and innocent without regard, simply because they could.
Power is a huge responsibility and few are worthy to take office unless wealth, status and power are of little value to them. In other words, unregenerate men/women without a fear of God always fall into the same temptation and commit the same crimes. This is why history has been repeating itself over and over for 6 millennia.
Power belongs in the hands of the meek and humble yet violent aggressors have always usurped and killed those who are most deserving to rule!
Today, the Jesuit Vatican Shadow Empire New World Order controls all the systems of the world and will soon institute its ONE WORLD RELIGION and BEAST SYSTEM! It will only have power for a short period of time before Jesus Christ returns and destroys it!

I maintain that CHRISTIANITY ensures the ONLY fair and equitable framework within which governance under God for the people, by the people ensures fairness and justice for all both great and small.
One day soon the meek shall rule the world with Jesus Christ and this wicked paradigm will be remembered no more ... God always keeps his promises!
